Payment Security
Payment Security
At Travifai, we believe financial transparency is just as important as pricing transparency. We utilize established payment infrastructure to ensure your transactions are routed securely between you and the property.
How Your Payments are Handled
- Secure Payment Gateways: All online payments made on the Travifai platform are processed through official, authorized payment gateways.
- No Sensitive Data Storage: Travifai does not directly collect, store, or save your full credit card numbers, debit card PINs, or UPI PINs on our local servers.
- Transparent Routing: When you pay for a booking, the funds are securely routed according to the zero-commission SaaS model, ensuring the property owner receives their rightful earnings and your booking is guaranteed.
Common Transaction Scenarios
- Money Deducted but Booking Failed: Occasionally, due to network fluctuations between your bank and the payment gateway, funds may be debited without a booking confirmation. In these instances, the gateway automatically flags the transaction as incomplete and initiates a reversal to your original payment method.
- Pending Status: If a transaction shows as "Pending," please wait before attempting a second payment to avoid duplicate charges.
Protecting Yourself from Fraud
Your vigilance is your best defense against cyber fraud. Please follow these strict security guidelines:
- Keep Payments on the Platform: To ensure your booking is protected by our cancellation and refund policies, never transfer money directly to a hotel's personal bank account or unverified UPI ID via WhatsApp before your booking is secured on Travifai.
- We Will Never Ask for Your PIN or OTP: Travifai employees, support staff, and verified hotel partners will never call or message you asking for your passwords, OTPs (One-Time Passwords), CVV numbers, or UPI PINs.
- Beware of Fake Customer Care Numbers: Only use the official contact methods listed on the Travifai website or app. Do not search for customer care numbers on public search engines or social media comments, as these can easily be manipulated by scammers.
Reporting Suspicious Activity
If you receive a suspicious email claiming to be from Travifai, or if a property owner insists on an off-platform cash advance that makes you uncomfortable, please report it to us immediately.
